About The Artist: Hello everyone! I’m Destry, but my friends call me Des or Dessy. I’m a freelance digital artist and illustrator who loves to work on commission subjects of all types, but has an especially soft spot for fantasy. I have been taking on commissions since around 2008. Things of course were slow at first, and I had a lot of improving to do, but I have built my business through the trust of those who commission me.
Here we are 16 years later and business is awesome, I feel like I have finally built a small but faithful following, and for the first time, I'm actually able to look at my art and see how far I've come.I am a very friendly person, and completely open to talking to new people so please don't hesitate to reach out to me!I hope that you can look around and enjoy my work. Commission Pricing

The prices listed here are base prices. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of your commission, but this can be used to give you a general idea of cost. All prices are listed in USD.
Please note that while I understand wanting reworks of your commission, if the rework is needed that is no fault of my own, there may be a fee that varies in price in order for me to complete it.

About Ordering

To order a flat rate commission from me, please fill out a form, or send me a note on furaffinity which includes everything you want and any references or information I will need in order to complete the work.This includes, but is not limited to:

Reference Sheets for any characters in the image.
How much of the body you would like showing in the image.
The style of commission you would like.
Whether or not you would like shading.
A general “feeling” or theme in the image.
Whether or not you would like a background, and a background idea if relevant.
Clothing references.
Accessories.
Etc.

Once I have all of this information, I can give you a quote on how much your piece will cost, and we will go from there!

Payment Conditions

Do not send payment until I ask for one. If you send payment before it is requested I will consider it a donation.
Payment will be asked for once all information is gathered and your order is confirmed.
I only accept payment through paypal and zelle unless stated otherwise.
A slot is not secured until a payment is made, please try to make payment within a week of ordering your commission.
I may give a partial refund if something comes up for you depending on how far into the image I am.
I may give a refund if I no longer feel like I can work on your image, as I have the right to refuse work.
ONCE ART IS COMPLETE, IT IS COMPLETELY NON REFUNDABLE UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. IF A REFUND IS GIVEN, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO ORDER FROM ME AGAIN, AND I MAY USE YOUR COMMISSION LINES AS A YCH, ADOPT, OR OTHERWISE IN ORDER TO MAKE FUNDS BACK. I WILL MAKE CHANGES NEEDED TO MAKE IT DIFFERENT FROM YOUR CHARACTER.
Please remember that a refund may take time because I do send payments to my bank account after I have started a commission so that I can pay my bills.

Things To Keep In Mind

You will receive updates on how your commission is going throughout the process. The first thing you will be getting is a sketch! Once a sketch is completed and approved I will not be making any changes or alterations to the character outline or pose, so be sure to ask for any changes that may be needed when you see the sketch! After you've approved the sketch you will not get another WIP until the colors are completed.

My Rights

I have the right to delete work after it is finished. You will be expected to save the full resolution file from FA or the link I send you when your work is finished, but if you lose it, it is not guaranteed that I will keep it in my computer or on any other site.
I have the right to refuse work.
I have the right to post and copy my work, even if it is of your character.
I have the right to reuse poses. Please keep in mind that you cannot copyright a body movement.
You cannot remove any signatures/watermarks I place on your art.
I have the right to refuse to send you my layer files. When you pay for my art, you are paying for the finished product as a JPG or PNG image, not my layer file, or parts of t.
If for any reason I do not receive payment for artwork that I have done, or it is refunded by request, I have the right to re-sell that work whether it be through prints, YCH, advertisements, or adoptables.
I have the right to alter my terms of service at any point in time without prior notification, however, I will inform you immediately after the terms have changed.

Your Rights

You have the right to re-post any art that I have done for you to your gallery as well as edit, crop, add text, and alter the commission as long as you credit me as the artist and link back to my FurAffinity page with an icon link.
You have the right to print your commission and make copies as long as you do NOT make profit from MY work.
I will not violate your rights as your character's owner, in order to use my drawing of your character in any advertisements, or work to be profited from such as prints, pillowcases, ect, I will require your written permission. However, if payment is not made, or is "refunded" by paypal through a dispute, this right will be void.

═ Weapons: If you would like a weapon featured in your piece, I need full pose freedom (Though you can tell me if you want the character actually using it or just holding it) This is because I am not particularly great with weapons, so the reference images you give to me of them are pretty much all I have to go off of. I need to be able to pose the character in a way that the weapon is seen the way I see it in the reference image.)

PWYW T.O.S.

About Ordering

If you would like a PWYW commission, please look out for a journal stating that I am opening a stream! I usually try to stream PWYW commissions 5 days a week. I only do PWYW commissions through live stream.

When you send me the information for your commission, under the box that asks for details please include any references that I may need of your character(s) and their clothing.
I save all unfinished files in my computer until they are completed, so even if you can't afford to get a full piece finished in one session, you will be able to come into another stream when you have the funds to continue working on it.
Please be sure to fill out your order form according to what you would like the finished piece to look like, not what you can afford right at the moment of sending it in.

Payment Conditions

I expect payment immediately. If you do not send payment within five minutes of my requesting it for a PWYW, I will move on to the next order. This will make it so that I can get more done for everyone with less delay.
I do not accept e-checks.
For PWYWs, I will be starting the timer as soon as I have confirmed the received payment, please have everything that I will need included in the form so that your time will stretch further. If I have to stop to get more references from you I will not pause the time.

Refunds

I DO NOT do refunds once your piece is started. Unless your piece has not yet been started, will not give refunds of any sort, partial or otherwise.

Things to Keep in Mind

Please remember that when you ask for shading on your image, you are also asking for lighting! Please, if there is time left over on your commission after it's been shaded, keep in mind that lighting will really make your image pop, and it is included when you ask for shading.
I will pause the timer at any point when I need to leave the computer, or stop drawing for any amount of time that is not to get more references for your piece, I will pause the timer before I leave and state that it has been paused before leaving.

Extra Time

If you have extra time after your piece is finished, the payment for the remainder of time will not be refunded, I will however start a new piece for you or add in any extra detail that you may want on the piece currently being worked on. If you are not in stream while I am working on your commission, the time left will be noted to you for you to decide what I am to do with it.
If you have to leave in the middle of a stream, I will simply continue working on your piece without you there. There are no worries, as long as references needed have been provided, your commission is in capable hands!
